We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of a modern data platform leveraging Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Data Lake. What you’ll be doing
- Design and develop data processing workflows and pipelines
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytics and reporting
- Work with Azure Databricks and Apache Spark for large-scale data transformations
- Develop robust solutions using Python and SQL
- Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure high data quality
- Optimize performance and efficiency of ETL/ELT processes
- Monitor data flows and troubleshoot issues to ensure stability
- Collaborate closely with data architects, analysts, and business teams

Who we’re looking for
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Expertise in Azure Data Platform with strong experience in Azure Databricks
- Solid knowledge of Apache Spark and distributed data processing
- Excellent skills in Python and SQL
- Experience with Data Lake architectures
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data processing principles
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with Hive and Apache Impala
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data solutions
- Exposure to working with large-scale datasets (Big Data)
- Background in the financial services sector
