The Lead SME – Cryptography role is part of a global Service Delivery – Cryptography team, responsible for delivering and supporting cryptographic solutions and consultations on a worldwide scale. The position involves managing processes related to TLS/SSL certificates, SSH keys, and supporting cryptographic projects across the organization.

What you’ll be doing
- Identify process gaps and escalate issues as needed.
- Assess risks of changes and propose mitigation strategies.
- Lead the change implementation process in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
- Prepare reports from multiple data sources to monitor and resolve issues.
- Handle ServiceNow requests within agreed SLAs.
- Provide global cryptography consulting services to internal customers.
- Troubleshoot TLS certificates generation and connection issues between Venafi TPP and target servers.
- Support non-standard queries and provide timely responses to urgent production issues.

Who we’re looking for
- Hands-on experience with Venafi platform or TLS/SSH key management.
- Customer and stakeholder focus with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure technologies.
- Knowledge of cryptography, network protocols, and data security.
- Strong Python scripting and SQL/MySQL skills.
- Ability to create thorough technical documentation.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS.
- Experience with API integration and cURL commands.
- Familiarity with Splunk.
