This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, building, and integrating production-grade solutions quickly while maintaining high standards of design, testing, security, and operational resilience. You will contribute to the delivery of multiple workstreams, working closely with Tech Leads, architects, QA, and platform teams.

What you’ll be doing
Engineering Delivery:
- Build, test, deploy, and maintain Java microservices and related components for multiple product areas
- Contribute to solution design and integration patterns aligned with target architecture and non-functional requirements
- Identify and resolve technical risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers collaboratively
Engineering Quality & Controls:
- Apply and contribute to engineering standards: coding best practices, branching strategy, CI/CD quality gates, test strategy, and definition of done
- Deliver robust automated tests (unit, integration, contract) using tools like JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers
- Actively participate in code reviews, design reviews, and security reviews ensuring remediation of findings
AI-Enabled SDLC & Governance:
- Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) responsibly while ensuring code quality, security, and IP protection
- Apply governance measures for AI-generated code: traceability, audit readiness, secure coding reviews
- Contribute to GenAI-driven engineering patterns, such as:
- LLM (safe and compliant usage practices)
- RAG (retrieval-augmented generation techniques)
- Agent-based workflows for automation with human-in-the-loop controls
Security, Resilience & Operational Readiness:
- Embed security-by-design principles: secure coding, vulnerability management, and compliance
- Deliver production-ready solutions ensuring observability (logs, traces, metrics), and readiness for incident handling
- Support release activities and integration during environment cutovers
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Work closely with Tech Leads, QA, SREs, and architecture teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration

Who we’re looking for
- Strong experience building Java microservices (Spring Boot) in enterprise environments
- Proficiency in RDBMS (e.g., Oracle/PostgreSQL) including schema design and performance tuning
- Solid background in unit, integration, and contract testing
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Sonar, SAST/DAST tools)
- Good understanding of integration patterns (REST, messaging/event-driven), API design and versioning
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform)
- Working knowledge of GenAI concepts and tools used in software engineering, such as LLMs, RAG patterns, and governance controls
Desirable Experience
- Delivery of regulated financial services platforms with strong audit and operational requirements
- Familiarity with cloud-native patterns (containers, Kubernetes, service mesh) and observability tooling
- Experience with performance engineering and resilience testing
- Prior involvement in implementing AI-enabled SDLC practices, including measurable productivity outcomes
- Hands-on experience with GenAI prototyping or integration (e.g., RAG pipelines, evaluation frameworks, prompt lifecycle management)
