What you’ll be doing
- Build and maintain cloud-native platform services supporting the IDAM 2.0 programme.
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters and supporting components.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated deployments.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
- Manage cloud networking, security, and connectivity.
- Configure service mesh and secure service-to-service communication.
- Ensure observability: logging, monitoring, metrics, and tracing.
- Secure secrets management and automate certificate lifecycle.
- Support high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance requirements.
- Drive cost optimisation, performance tuning, and SRE best practices.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Google Cloud Platform Engineering (GCP)
- Strong Kubernetes administration skills
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- CI/CD and GitOps automation expertise
- Linux & Networking fundamentals
- Service Mesh (Istio/Envoy), PKI & secrets management
- Observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing)
- DevSecOps mindset and Scripting/Automation skills
- Global deployment experience in large-scale environments
- Self-driven, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach
