We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst with deep expertise in Microsoft Excel and VBA to design, automate, and maintain robust data solutions. If you thrive on transforming messy data into actionable insights and building automations that save hours of manual work, this role is for you.

What you’ll be doing
- Design, build, and maintain complex Excel models, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Develop, optimize, and document VBA macros and automation workflows
- Transform raw data into structured, analysis-ready datasets
- Automate recurring reports, reconciliations, and data validation processes
- Create advanced formulas (including Power Query, dynamic ranges, array formulas)
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and performance drivers
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across all spreadsheets
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting and automation needs
- Maintain version control, documentation, and best practices for all solutions
- Troubleshoot and improve existing Excel/VBA tools for performance and reliability

Who we’re looking for
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, Power Pivot)
- Strong VBA development skills (macros, user forms, error handling, performance tuning)
- Solid understanding of data structures, data cleaning, and validation techniques
- Ability to handle large datasets efficiently within Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to translate business requirements into technical spreadsheet solutions
- High attention to detail and excellent documentation habits
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with Power BI or other BI tools
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
- Experience integrating Excel with external data sources (APIs, CSVs, databases)
- Understanding of financial, operational, or compliance reporting
Education:
- Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or equivalent practical experience
