As a Senior Java Developer, you will design, build, and maintain distributed systems and API-driven services using modern technology stacks in an Agile, DevOps-oriented environment.

What you’ll be doing
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable applications and services in compliance with industry and internal standards
- Deliver solutions on time, meeting all functional and non-functional requirements
- Participate in code reviews, challenge design and implementation decisions to ensure best practices
- Conduct unit and automated testing, ensuring coverage meets project standards
- Collaborate within Agile product teams, working closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders
- Implement and maintain API endpoints following OpenAPI 3.0 and RESTful design principles
- Contribute to automation and CI/CD pipelines, support deployment activities, and operational readiness
- Promote a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement through code quality, performance tuning, and mentoring junior engineers
- Ensure compliance, security standards, and alignment with organizational governance policies

Who we’re looking for
- Strong professional experience in Java and Spring Boot development
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Practical knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms
- Expertise in REST API design and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI 3.0)
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools: GitHub, Jenkins (shared libraries), Maven, Groovy
- Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols, particularly OAuth 2; experience with Kong API Gateway
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including TDD, Scrum practices, and automation frameworks
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and design innovative solutions
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with event-driven architectures and distributed messaging systems
- Familiarity with observability stacks and performance monitoring tools
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring within a team
