Tasks

•    Responsible for solving engineering problems in relation to testing and quality assurance and develop processes and practices that help deliver scalable testing that is fast, frequent and continuous.
•    You will need to build relationships with the Product Owners and their technical leads and with the wider testing community
•    Develop a Testing strategy and ensure its implementation across Control-M technology 
•    Determining tools and approaches for Testing per product and the automated storing of test output
•    Ensuring documented Test strategies and test plans are in place and are up to date and reflective of the current position
•    Actively maintaining existing Test frameworks or help develop new ones when required. 
•    Developing Tests that are predictable, repeatable and implement automated verification of acceptance criteria. 
•    Introduce KPI's or metrics that evidence the success of Testing as a practise. 
•    Agree appropriate hosting of any necessary Testing infrastructure or software

Requirements
                
•    While is not required, is highly recommended to have a background in Workload Automation scheduling tools.
•    Testing background in a fast-paced IT environment
•    Strategic planning
•    Automation tooling
•    Experience of different types of testing, eg, unit, performance, regression
•    Experience of evaluating the success of implementing testing strategies
•    Effective communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
•    Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
•    Proficiency in English language speaking and writing skills required.
