Tasks
  • Assists the functional resources/business analysts with requirements gathering and provides design guidance for significant CME/MS Dynamics 365 projects. 
  • Facilitates discussions with business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and present a technical vision and solutions in thecontextof software products, customisations, and integrations to meet those needs within Dynamics 365 and in related 365 toolset. 
  • Deep knowledge of the Dynamics,Customer Engagement,Interactive Service Hub, Field Service and Portals. Strong understanding of when to use of native features and when it is appropriate to use custom engagement development. Ability to successfully communicate this information to both technical and business teams. 
  • Participates withimplementation delivery team to develop a solution proposal that includes scope, assumptions, implementation plan, and technology solution options to meet project goals as well as longer term needs. 
  • Provides leadership and technical guidance to the project team throughout the implementation to ensure accurate delivery of project plans. 
  • Provides current best practices and solution alternatives as part of functional or technical design documents. 
  • Communicates complex topics regarding solutions and related projects to audiences both with and without deep technical skills. 
  • Ability to be client-facing including effectively communicating with the business, leading meetings, and capturing and distributing action items. 
  • Assists with upgrades of D365 cloud. 
  • Occasionally assist with providing inputs to the project plans, estimates and scope for sales proposals and statements ofwork.
  • Participate in implementation customisation and configuration for D365 solutions. 
Requirements

Have a system engineering background and the ability to compare and contrast different solutions to meet a business requirement.  Provide technical thought leadership in evaluation of new technologies to meet business requirements and influence key stakeholders leading to adoption.  

In-particular: 

  • 3+ years of Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement applications product experience and processes along with experience in other MS Dynamics modules. 
  • 5+ years of project experience and 3+ years of consulting experience. 
  • Professional certification in CRM or agree to achieve appropriate certification in agreed upon timeframe.  
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 for Sales & Marketing, Field Service, Project Service Automation, Customer Service, Voice of the Customer, Portals, and other emerging Microsoft software. 
  • Experience implementing and customizing Dynamics and Dynamics 365.  
  • Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve complex business requirements, and streamline/automate business processes.  
  • Experience with Dynamics SDK. 
  • Experience with leading or participating in the gathering and documenting of business processes and requirements for the system with key business users.  
  • Creation of Functional and Technical Specifications documentation for the project including specifications for customizations, data migration, and system integrations. 
  • Experience with SDK and 3rd party tools such as XRMToolbox for administration of CRM system.  
  • Building and configuring MSD365 forms, views, dashboards, and workflows.  
  • Understanding of CRM API, REST/ODATA and SOAP endpoints.  
  • Experience with .NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, and C#. 
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud platform. 
  • Good to have experience in collaboration tools (such as: Confluence, Jira). 

 

Desirable skills 

  • Experience with other Microsoft products (e.g., Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, SharePoint, etc.)  
  • Proficient in Visual Studio, Business Intelligence Development Studio, PowerBI, O365 Administration, SQL Server Data Tools, and Team Foundation Server  
  • Familiarity with Azure SQL, SSIS or other ETL technologies  
  • Experience with Dynamics Portals  
  • Microsoft Azure cognitive services
  • Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) 
  • Automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) 
  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus) 
  • Have a good understanding of the financial services business.  Able to translate business needs into appropriate IT solutions. 
  • Good written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing stakeholders, negotiating effectively, and winning over audiences with compelling and persuasive presentations.
