Data & Analytics Office (DAO) promotes a data-driven culture across Client's organisation through the strategy of:

The role primarily supports the Fix The Back Book pillar(s) of the strategy


Role Responsibilities

·      DAO PMO Managers are responsible for ensuring project and programme governance, metrics and reporting are maintained to standard across the DAO portfolio. They provide independent assurance and challenge to ensure change is delivered safely

·      The role leads the definition, implementation and governance of methodologies, process and tooling to ensure these are fit for purpose. The PMO will need to be pro-active and communicate effectively with a wide range of delivery stakeholders and partners, ranging from Managers to Managing Directors

·      The primary purpose of this role is to support the Integrity of Regulatory Reporting (IRR) programme within organisation Change Framework guidelines and coordinate across teams executing through the AGILE methodology.

·      IRR is a key pillar of the Regulatory Excellence Portfolio and a crucial component of the Group Data Execution Programme. Overall delivery objective is to ensure the data in key regulatory reports is complete, accurate and timely through implementation of the Data Usage control.

·        The successful applicant will enjoy working as part of a dynamic team on a high profile and exciting programme of work.


Key accountabilities include

·        Ensure delivery to agreed business plans within cost, quality and timescale objectives

·        Driving planning across project and programme level deliverables

·    Quality reporting on delivery status updates and specialised IRR reporting (such as RAIDs, milestones and OKRs upholding DAO reporting guidelines and standards)

·     Managing resource plans, producing/overseeing indicative pricing and detailed budgets

·        Monitoring, reporting and managing delivery budgets and expenditure

·   Managing and monitoring of delivery governance arrangements adhering to the organisation’s Change Framework

·   Acting as the Change Framework SME (providing advice, managing all internal communications and promoting/delivering training for the deployment of methodology changes)

·        RAID monitoring and escalation to successful resolution

·        Proactively tracking benefits and OKRs against committed targets

·        Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders

·        Providing expertise and best practice on agile ways of working

·        Sharing knowledge

·        Providing advice on agile tools such as Jira and Confluence


The ideal candidate would possess: 

- Minimum 6 years of experience in a PMO/Governance Manager role 

- Excellent analytical skills (to understand complex challenges and facilitate practical solutions) 

- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders (IT and business) at all levels of the organization 

- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to coordinate and analyze data from multiple projects and work streams 

- Extensive portfolio of documented: designed and implemented process improvements (in portfolios or programs)


- In working with rapidly changing data/regulatory reporting (ideally in financial services) 

- In a broad understanding of data and application of best practices 

- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

- With Agile tools: Jira / Confulence
