- Configure and develop expertise in SAP Ariba platform through implementation and post-implementation
- Ensure that all SAP Ariba configuration (e.g., users, approvals, and filters) are set up in accordance with our Client's procurement policies
- Support implementation and management of on-going operations for our Client's Procurement technology environment
- Monitor and regularly report on usage of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) tools and implement plans for improving tool usage/value
- Conduct regularly scheduled maintenance of the eProcurement platform and requisite data elements
- Liaise with the business to assess additions, removals, and changes of business objects (suppliers, users, items, accounts, etc)
- Assess implications of new software releases, configure accordingly, and support necessary change management
- Demonstrating functional knowledge of Ariba modules solution and an understanding of how they interact and fit together
- Provide guidance to the technical team to support the technical build of the system, enhancements and bug fixes
- Proactively acts to understand business needs and offer solutions that align across business units
- Lead comprehensive solution-based assessments via in-depth reviews of a given customer’s procurement processes, business objectives, and operating model
- Builds action plans and makes operational decisions on policies, tactics, and resources critical to the function’s business success to ensure delivery against strategy of the function or team
- Leads and builds positive relationships with teams while delivering results
- Ability to speak to a variety of customers from different departments, at different levels, and in large or small groups
- Assist with communication internal Ariba teams about new enhancements and upcoming releases
- Bachelor’s Degree, in business, purchasing or computer science
- 5-7 years' experience in Procurement, Finance, or a related function working with Procure-to-Pay technologies.
- Experience in SAP Ariba Procure to Pay Solution
- Minimum of 2 years of customer support experience
- Experience in data migration
- Knowledge about system enhancements
- Experience in standard project tasks: testing, building test cases, analysis, documentation, customization, user training
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing technology and related processes including system maintenance and system support.
- Proven track-record of maintaining system data, configuration and integrations for SaaS solutions with regular upgrades
- Firsthand working knowledge of Procure-to-Pay technology, organization, and processes is required
