Tasks
  • Deliver clear, user-friendly APIs that power customer journeys such as onboarding, payments, and propositional features such as goal creation or checkout within the deposits product domain.
  • Build microservices on top of our core banking platform to orchestrate, translate, and apply business logic for seamless integration with client applications.
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders and a cross-functional squad, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Translate the product roadmap into actionable deliverables by breaking down roadmap objectives into epics, detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications for development teams.
  • Set sprint objectives in partnership with tech leads, ensuring high-quality delivery that meets governance, risk, and compliance standards.
  • Drive an API-first approach, focusing on standards-compliant design and documentation to ensure developer satisfaction and ease of integration.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, managing and delivering successful API-driven or Business-to-Business-to-Customer (B2B2C) products across all stages of the product lifecycle within a SaaS environment
  • A strong focus on understanding and delivering value to build a best-in-class developer experience, and business users’ needs, and with a keen awareness of the end customer experience
  • Expertise in API Product Management, including API design, documentation, and backend integration, with a deep understanding of scalable and reusable microservices architectures
  • Relevant experience in SaaS, Embedded Finance or BaaS, with a demonstrated ability to manage technical complexity and rapidly evolving customer needs
  • Business acumen and technical knowledge, with a solid background in product discovery, user-centric design, and iterative development processes
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure, analyse, and act on metrics that drive product success and customer satisfaction
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced SaaS environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, balancing customer requirements with business objectives and compliance needs

 

Nice to have: 

  • Specific experience in building orchestration / workflow type services and ideally some in customer onboarding / origination in a banking context
  • Experience working on a neo core banking / microservice platform
