Tasks

For our client's needs, we are looking for a Product Owner who will join and lead our agile product team, taking ownership of products in our BaaS Customer domain.

  • Work with the Product Manager for your business area to find the best solutions to build a scalable, flexible and reusable set of customer management services to support the lifecycle of the customer
  • Build the best picture for your assigned product areas and be the go-to person for information on your product area
  • Define and prioritise the squad backlog in consultation with the cross-functional team and key stakeholders
  • Break EPICs into detailed user stories and feature specifications in JIRA for the team to pick up and build (story, acceptance criteria and scenarios)
  • Work with the Tech Lead to set objectives for sprints and ensure the quality of output (ensuring Product Governance processes are adhered to) focusing on risk and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and build your services from the API first to enable a number of consumer journeys in line with published standards
Requirements
  • Previous experience in product ownership
  • Experience leading successful API or B2B2C products in all stages of the product life cycle
    - A drive to understand what delights technical and business users (clients) with the end customer experience in mind
  • Strong understanding of API (and associated documentation), backend application development
  • Relevant experience in some of the following areas: Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Embedded Finance, Banking-as-a Service (BaaS)
  • A T-shaped profile with all-round business and technical skills as well as deep product discovery, design and development experience
  • Consumer and metrics-driven
  • High attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with proven ability to balance customer and regulatory needs
  • Experience in building customer or party management services and appreciated the fundamental role they play in supporting other services to deliver almost every key journey across the platform
  • Worked on a neo core banking /microservice platform
  • Fluency in English (C1 level)
