We are looking for a Principal Subject Matter Expert – Network Access Control (NAC) who will play a key advisory and delivery role within a global Cybersecurity / Network Security function.
In this position, you will provide expert consultancy, thought leadership, and hands-on support for Network Access Control initiatives, helping the organisation strengthen its network security posture and mitigate network-based threats and risks in a complex, enterprise-scale environment.
This role is ideal for a senior network security professional who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, risk, and stakeholders, and who wants to have real influence on security strategy and controls.

What you’ll be doing
- Acting as a trusted SME for Network Access Control across business and IT projects
- Reviewing solutions and initiatives to ensure network security control requirements are metIdentifying gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve the overall network security posture
- Analysing network and cybersecurity data (e.g. logs, metrics) to support decisions and demonstrate control effectiveness
- Advising and collaborating with senior technical leaders and diverse stakeholder groups
- Leading complex engagements and representing Network Security interests where required
- Building strong relationships and working collaboratively across global, distributed teams

Who we’re looking for
Must‑have
- Deep understanding of Network Access Control technologies
- Strong knowledge of network security threats and risks
- Solid understanding of network design, firewalls, load balancing, and segmentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and lead engagements with minimal supervision
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
- Strong customer focus and ability to work under time pressure
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Nice to have
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Cybersecurity
- Industry certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNA, CCIE)
- Scripting skills (Python, Perl, or similar)
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts
- Exposure to security operations tools (e.g. SIEM, incident response)
