This is a strategic, long-term project (under NDA) focused on migrating and modernizing the global F5 load balancer estate to a new platform and building automation for operational processes. The role combines software engineering and networking expertise, offering opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies, automation, and cloud solutions in a highly collaborative, global environment.
You will work closely with network engineers and software developers, contributing to infrastructure migration, automation development, and continuous improvement initiatives. The team operates in an Agile/Scrum framework and values knowledge sharing, trust, and collaboration.

What you'll be doing
- Design and implement infrastructure and service migrations from the old to the new platform.
- Build automation solutions for the new platform and modify existing code for compatibility.
- Create deployment pipelines using approved technologies and adhere to API/configuration standards.
- Collaborate with service owners to schedule migration activities and follow strict change control processes.
- Support operational processes for F5 load balancers and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and work closely with a distributed global team

Who we're looking for
- Programming & Automation:
- Strong knowledge of Python and API development (including code testing and review).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Bash, and Jenkins/CICD pipelines.
- Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault.
- Networking:
- Solid understanding of BGP, Routing, TCP/IP, certificates/PKI.
- Experience with F5 load balancers and virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM).
- Soft skills:
- Fluent English (C1), excellent communication skills.
- Team player with experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to work in a global, distributed team and manage multiple priorities.
