IDPP Technical Business Analyst

At Mindbox we connect top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe.

We are seeking experienced Technical Business Analysts to join a strategic Identity and Access Management (IAM) transformation programme. The initiative is redefining how the Bank approaches Authentication, Federation, Privileged Access Management, Governance, Secrets Management, and API Security across a global technology landscape.

This is not a traditional BA role — it requires deep technical engagement combined with analytical skills, working closely with IAM specialists, infrastructure engineers, and product teams to streamline and modernize access control processes.

Sounds like your kind of challenge?

What you’ll be doing

  • Gather, validate, and manage technical and business requirements for IAM solutions across multiple environments (cloud and on-premises)
  • Define and document process flows, use cases, and functional specifications for identity governance, access provisioning, and lifecycle management
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security engineers, and solution architects to ensure designs meet business and security objectives
  • Support Joiner/Mover/Leaver workflows, provisioning and reconciliation processes (event-driven, near-real-time, batch)
  • Perform gap analysis and process optimization to reduce inefficiencies and improve user experience
  • Maintain traceable requirements in alignment with Agile delivery practices (Scrum or Kanban) and CI/CD controls
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to communicate analysis findings and drive decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and internal IAM governance requirements
  • Build clear documentation, including BRDs, process maps, use cases, and operational readiness materials

Note: Detailed project information will be shared during the recruitment process.

What you get in return

  • Flexible cooperation model – choose the form that suits you best
    (B2B, employment contract, etc.)
  • Hybrid work setup – remote days available depending on the client’s arrangements – 6 days a week from the office in Kraków
  • Collaborative team culture – work alongside experienced professionals eager to share knowledge
  • Continuous development – access to training platforms and growth opportunities
  • Comprehensive benefits – including Interpolska Health Care, Multisport card, Warta Insurance, and more
  • High quality equipment – laptop and essential software provided

Who we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within IAM programmes
  • In-depth knowledge of identity lifecycle workflows, provisioning patterns, and governance models
  • Familiarity with IAM standards and tools: AD/Azure AD, LDAP, SCIM, SAML, OIDC basics
  • Strong requirements elicitation and process mapping skills in technical environments
  • Solid understanding of identity domain concepts: authentication vs. authorisation, entitlements, role-based access control, SoD, and access reviews
  • Experience working closely with IT developers, engineers, and operations teams to translate functional and non-functional requirements into actionable solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical processes for stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with confidence in leading cross-functional workshops
  • Proficiency in Excel, Visio, and Confluence

Desirable Skills

  • Prior experience in financial services or regulated industries
  • Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), DevOps principles, and regulated CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of audit and compliance requirements for access control and identity governance evidence
  • Experience with Rational Team Concert or similar collaborative tools

Joining this project you’ll become part of Mindbox – a tech-driven company where consulting, engineering, and talent meet to build meaningful digital solutions. We’ll back you up every step of the way, accelerate your development, and ensure your skills make a difference.
