Tasks
  • Responsible for mapping Finance related source data to target datasets.
  • Datasets include: Procure to Pay, Invoice to Cash, Fixed Assets, Revenue and General Ledger
  • Liaise with stakeholders to collate required data sets needed in the mapping of legacy data to Equinix systems
  • Perform source system data analysis to manage source to target data mapping
  • Transformation of source data applying agreed business and data rules to extracted datasets
  • Preparation of data files for migration loads to Equinix systems
  • Co-ordination of data submissions to IT in accordance with migration delivery plan
  • Perform post load validations and detailed reconciliations for all migrated datasets, providing variance analysis for Track Lead resolution
  • Track incoming source data submissions from acquired business and routinely prepare dashboards
  • Responsible for developing task automations using Excel VBA or other programming languages
  • Support ad-hoc data related activities as required
  • Maintain up to date data migration procedural documents
Requirements
  • Proficient in MS Excel to advanced level
  • Proficient in data reconciliation
  • Experienced in Excel VBA and/or other programming languages for e.g. C++, C#, SQL etc.
  • Rigorous and methodical in data manipulation
  • Strong analytics reporting expertise
  • Ensure best practice in data quality management is always adhered to and applied
  • Meticulous and proficient with investigating issues related to financial datasets
  • Understanding of Finance and Accounting
  • Prior experience of working on ‘Oracle Cloud’ would be an added advantage
