Tasks

We are focussed on re-inventing the relationship with our customers and want to ensure that all our digital channels have a coherent customer experience. It is therefore vital for us to develop an omni-channel content management strategy that enables UI design balanced against the need for content reuse across mobile, PWS and other digital touchpoints.

We are looking for a technical content architect with deep expertise in enterprise content management systems (AEM preferred), structured content modelling and omni-channel content delivery. This role will focus on defining scalable content architectures, enabling API-driven content reuse and optimising content governance through technology.

What you’ll do:

·       Content modelling and taxonomy: design and implement structured content models, metadata schemas and taxonomies to support omni-channel content distribution

·       Enterprise CMS architecture: define and maintain content structures within AEM 6.5 to enable modular content reuse

·       API and integration strategy: collaborate with engineering teams to design content APIs, structured data strategies and integrations with front-end applications

·       Localisation and scalability: support content localisation strategies by structuring content for efficient multi-language deployment and regional customisation

·    Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with engineering, content strategy, design and technical authoring teams to ensure content architecture aligns with business objectives and technical constraints

Requirements

You could be right for this role if you:

·    have a good working knowledge of enterprise content management systems and structured content or headless CMS principles (that is to say, you can support projects from a technical content point of view, not just a creative one)

·       have experience with component-based content delivery (you know how front-end applications consume structured content)

·       have content modelling experience (can design modular content structures/blocks for reusability in CMSs)

·       understand how content is retrieved via APIs for different platforms

·       are happy leading conversations, asking questions and making decisions on structured-content-related matters

·       have experience creating guidelines for content teams to follow

·       are a self-starter and adept at working through ambiguity
