You will join the PAM Technology Engineering function, focusing on delivering robust backend infrastructure improvements for HashiCorp Vault services. The role includes building automation, managing releases, ensuring service resilience, and enabling seamless onboarding through self-service capabilities. You’ll be part of a strategic IAM initiative that is critical for enterprise-level security and will have the opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts across continents.

What you’ll be doing

Act as SME for design and implementation of HashiCorp Vault on-prem
Manage backend infrastructure support, including upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and performance optimization
Automate provisioning and deployment using Terraform and Ansible AAP playbooks
Develop and maintain Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines for Vault release automation
Troubleshoot inefficiencies and propose design improvements
Ensure robust monitoring and alerting integrations using tools such as Splunk, Grafana, SCOM
Create documentation and self-help material to support developer onboarding and operational excellence
Drive progress across strategic PAM programs in an Agile environment (Jira, Jira Service Desk)
Engage in change management activities, potentially out-of-hours as required

Who we’re looking for

Essential Skills & Experience

✔ 3+ years working with HashiCorp Vault (on-prem preferred)
✔ Deep expertise in Terraform for automation and Vault provisioning
✔ Strong skills in release automation, particularly Ansible AAP and Jenkins pipelines
✔ Experience managing backend infrastructure, enterprise-scale upgrades, and configuration improvements
✔ Strong ability to troubleshoot Vault inefficiencies and suggest innovative improvements
✔ Familiarity with enterprise monitoring frameworks (Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, SCOM)
✔ Hands-on experience in Agile delivery, utilizing Jira for workflows and service desk operations
✔ Solid understanding of large-scale technologies and global IT operations

Additional Desired Experience

Coding and scripting proficiency; working knowledge of GitHub and source control best practices
Experience managing audit and compliance requirements
Previous exposure to Scrum ceremonies and task prioritization (Scrum Master role desirable)
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills across cultures and time zones
Ability to handle crisis management and root cause analysis effectively
