Tasks
  • Managing all aspects of project delivery, including budget, procurement, and execution.

  • Collaborating with vendors and stakeholders to define and prioritise the vendor roadmap in alignment with our client’s strategic goals.

  • Overseeing our client’s book of work to ensure alignment across vendor teams, development teams, business units, and the transformation team regarding priorities and deadlines.

  • Ensuring quality processes are clearly defined and followed by both the vendor and SAGE IT, including risk identification and assessment.

  • Stakeholder management: maintaining full transparency with global stakeholders by facilitating appropriate forums, including Programme Steering Committees (PSC) and other project-related meetings.

  • Building and nurturing relationships with the global SAGE IT team and business partners.

  • Working closely with SAGE product owners to ensure a continuous flow of deconstructed and well-defined work items into the respective pod backlogs.

  • Collaborating with other SAGE streams to drive consistency and elevate IT service standards for delivering shared capabilities.

  • Embracing Agile and DevOps methodologies to enhance efficiency, transparency, and collaboration.

Requirements
  • Solid experience in technical ownership and driving business operations transformation

  • Strong capabilities in leading organizational transformation initiatives

  • Proven experience in financial planning and management, including budgeting across various business units

  • Extensive vendor management experience with a focus on outcome delivery

  • Demonstrated success in project and program management methodologies and techniques

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience across all phases of the software development lifecycle

  • Practical experience with Agile and DevOps development practices

  • Passion for people development, including team structure design and ongoing team optimization

  • Skilled in managing multiple global stakeholders with conflicting priorities

  • Formal qualification in Information Technology

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
