Location: Kraków
Remote work: 6 days per month from the Kraków office
Type of contract: B2B contract with Mindbox
Rate: 190–210 PLN/hour

Business Context

This role is part of a global Cybersecurity team responsible for managing risks related to information, technology, and cybersecurity within the organization. The Cybersecurity Technology Engineering (CTE) team focuses on protecting cloud and container environments, supporting the development of software for identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across the company’s infrastructure (on-premises, cloud, and containerized).

 

 

Role Description

The Cloud Security Specialist (Cloud Security SME) joins the Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) team within CTE. This person acts as a key link between business stakeholders (IT Service Owners, cloud teams, container teams, control and capability owners) and the CNAPP team, enabling the implementation of CNAPP solutions in the bank’s internal processes.

Tasks

Responsibilities

  • Gathering and analyzing requirements by collaborating with architects, cloud and container engineers, capability leads, and control owners.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert in cloud and container security, providing guidance on the design and implementation of security controls.
  • Defining and prioritizing tasks (epics) within Agile sprints, clearly outlining goals, completion criteria, and dependencies.
  • Working closely with the CNAPP engineering team and other technical teams to ensure business requirements are aligned with technical specifications.
  • Advising stakeholders who are new to CNAPP.
  • Conducting workshops and presentations, agreeing on project approaches, and validating solutions.
  • Defining acceptance criteria for implemented solutions.
  • Mapping integrations and APIs between CNAPP components and banking systems (e.g., reporting, data lake integrations).
Requirements

Technical Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a cloud security expert in cloud projects, security and compliance platforms (SaaS/On-premise).
  • Practical knowledge of vulnerability scanning, configuration, compliance, inventory (CNAPP, CSPM).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, writing epics, features, and user stories.
  • Experience with data engineering platforms (e.g., Databricks) is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with API integrations, microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP), and DevOps processes.
  • Preferred knowledge of regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, CIS benchmarks) and public cloud certifications (AWS, GCP).
