As Cloud Security Assessment Specialist, you will be responsible for performing security assessments across multiple cloud platforms, ensuring compliance with strict security controls before services move into production. You will provide expert security guidance, collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, and influence strategic improvements to strengthen cloud security posture.

What you’ll be doing

Conduct detailed Cloud Security Assessments for services prior to production deployment.
Provide cloud security consultancy and support to internal teams.
Drive continuous improvement, automation, and process standardization within security assessment workflows.
Ensure proper implementation of security controls and compliance with global security frameworks.
Engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders for secure and efficient service delivery.
Keep up-to-date with industry cloud security trends, advocating best practices.

Who we’re looking for

Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Familiarity with at least one additional platform (Microsoft Azure or Alibaba Cloud).
Sound understanding of cloud security controls, risks, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to produce clear reports and technical documentation.
Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and team player approach.

Nice to have:

Experience conducting cybersecurity assessments or security reviews.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible), automation, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with software development tools and technologies.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or Cloud Security certifications (e.g., CCSK).
