As a Senior Java Developer, you will design, build, and maintain distributed systems and API-driven services using modern technology stacks in an Agile, DevOps-oriented environment.

What you’ll be doing

Design and develop high-quality, scalable applications and services in compliance with industry and internal standards
Deliver solutions on time, meeting all functional and non-functional requirements
Participate in code reviews, challenge design and implementation decisions to ensure best practices
Conduct unit and automated testing, ensuring coverage meets project standards
Collaborate within Agile product teams, working closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders
Implement and maintain API endpoints following OpenAPI 3.0 and RESTful design principles
Contribute to automation and CI/CD pipelines, support deployment activities, and operational readiness
Promote a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement through code quality, performance tuning, and mentoring junior engineers
Ensure compliance, security standards, and alignment with organizational governance policies

Who we’re looking for

Strong professional experience in Java and Spring Boot development
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
Practical knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms
Expertise in REST API design and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI 3.0)
Proficiency with CI/CD tools: GitHub, Jenkins (shared libraries), Maven, Groovy
Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols, particularly OAuth 2; experience with Kong API Gateway
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including TDD, Scrum practices, and automation frameworks
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and design innovative solutions
Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

Previous experience with event-driven architectures and distributed messaging systems
Familiarity with observability stacks and performance monitoring tools
Ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring within a team
