For our Client, we’re looking for a skilled Atlassian Administrator (Tech SME) who will serve as the go-to expert for Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management (JSM) platforms. You will work closely with teams, providing guidance on best practices, ensuring effective platform usage, and driving continuous improvements in service and delivery processes.

What you’ll be doing
- Act as a primary point of contact for Jira, Confluence, and JSM, advising teams on scalable, practical solutions.
- Provide day-to-day support: resolve queries, handle configuration requests, and translate requirements into solutions.
- Define and promote best practices for:
- Jira configuration: issue types, workflows, fields, screens, permissions.
- Confluence structure: spaces, templates, governance.
- JSM service design: request types, SLAs, queues, portals, and knowledge base.
- Build and maintain automation rules in Jira/JSM to improve consistency and reduce manual effort.
- Support planning using Advanced Roadmaps (Plans) for hierarchy management, dependencies, and reporting.
- Create clear documentation, templates, and training sessions; drive adoption through how-to guides and onboarding.
- Partner with teams to design incident and request workflows, approvals, and reporting processes.
- Support integration and reporting: dashboards, filters, and subscriptions to measure service performance.
- Contribute to platform governance by recommending standards that balance flexibility and consistency.

Who we’re looking for
- Strong experience with Jira Software, Confluence, and JSM, able to advise both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with JSM configuration: automation, SLAs, request types, queues, knowledge integration.
- Familiarity with Advanced Roadmaps, including capacity and dependency management.
- Experience with Cloud environments and understanding feature differences/migration aspects.
- Programming basics (e.g., Python, NodeJS) are a plus.
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset with focus on user experience and measurable outcomes.
