Mindbox is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Continuous Delivery Architect  to join our Cloud Native expert team.  We are  looking for an experienced and highly motivated Continuous Delivery Architect with strong hands-on expertise in microservice architecture and containers to work on projects focused on defining CD pipelines and promoting best practices that will enhance the development organization's automation capabilities for our customers products and services.  

We are experts in Kubernetes, Containers, and Programmable Infrastructure. We work with customers on Digital Transformation enabling Innovation at speed, Increase security and optimize costs. Mindbox Kubernetes and Programmable Infrastructure experts work with customers that are getting started with cloud native technologies, and drive accelerated adoption of Kubernetes to decrease time to market for customer's mission critical services. We build Container based production environments and CI/CD pipelines using IaC approach for the most demanding customers in Bank, Fintech and Telco.  

The ideal candidate will be results-driven, self-motivated and an experienced software engineer with a deep understanding of tools used in CI/CD pipelines for application automation, and infrastructure (Kubernetes, Cloud, bare metal). The position requires a thorough understanding of modern software development techniques and working in an agile team.  

The Continuous Delivery Architect at Mindbox is responsible for the following:  

  • Solution Communication and Documentation (10%): The CD Architect  provides clear and valuable documentation to support the team and communicates it effectively.  

  • Technology Leadership (25%): The CD Architect ensures that designed Solutions are successfully implemented by participating in all phases of the SDLC to support product delivery teams. The SA works iteratively to ensure that systems are successfully evolved and delivered as maintainable finished solutions.  

  • Technology Research (5%): The CD Architect conducts research on new and emerging technologies for practical application to business problems and strategic initiatives. 

  • Architecture Evolution (5%): The CD Architect reviews the current technology architecture landscape and seeks ways to leverage, improve and/or extend corporate technology investments in DevOps and automation.   

  • Definition of DevOps architecture Best Practices (10%): The CD Architect supports the team in the development of best practices, documentation templates and process and workflow to optimize delivery.  

  • Mentoring and Support for Team Members (15%): The CD Architect supports the team through mentoring and ongoing guidance for fellow team members.  

  • Prioritization and Management of the project/product backlog (5%): The CD Architect works with business and technology management to help manage and prioritize the team’s engagement with a specific business line or area.  

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field 

  • Experience with microservices and containers  

  • 2 years or experience in designing automated CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins 

  • Container orchestration engines and solutions, such as OpenShift, Kubernetes or Docker Swarm  

  • 7 years of intermediate to senior level experience in multiple information technology disciplines such as Host/Server technology, virtualization, databases, applications, middleware, web technologies, data security and operating systems. Broad experience in different technology stacks such as Java/J2EE or Microsoft (.NET).  

  • 3 years of experience in designing and implementing automated software products cloud or hybrid cloud IaaS and PaaS technologies  

  • CI/CD toolchains, Maven, GradleBazel etc.  

  • Configuration management and orchestration tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform  

  • Use of the Atlassian stack (Jira, etc.)  

  • Ability to act in a leadership role supporting teams of skilled resources  

  • Experience in mentoring and educating fellow technology staff members 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with and understanding of the deliverables and value proposition of solutions architecture  

  • Experience delivering business-centric, integrated technology solutions at an international scale  

  • Deep understanding of technology trends and a broad knowledge of technology products and vendors  

  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments.  

  • Ability to comprehend rapidly the functions and capabilities of new technologies.  

  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills in order to communicate to peers, management, and customer staff
